The Lion and the Mouse
One day, a mighty lion was resting peacefully in the forest when a tiny mouse accidentally ran across his paw.
The lion woke up with a roar and caught the little mouse. Frightened but brave, the mouse pleaded, “Please let me go. One day, I may help you.”
The lion laughed at the idea — how could such a small creature ever help a king of the jungle?
But with kindness in his heart, he let the mouse go.
Days later, the lion was trapped in a hunter’s net. His powerful roars echoed through the forest. Hearing him, the little mouse rushed to help. With tiny, determined bites, the mouse gnawed through the ropes and set the lion free.
The lion realised that even the smallest friend can make the biggest difference.
