The idea for Baanika started close to home.
Our twin daughters had sensitive skin and often
developed rashes with synthetic fabrics. Watching her discomfort made us
rethink something simple — the clothes babies wear every day.
As doctors and parents, we began searching for fabrics that
were softer, purer, and free from harsh chemicals.
That search led us to organic cotton and natural plant dyes
— and eventually to creating Baanika.
